I am a little nuts, I'll admit it. While we're in New Zealand, the month of November begins. Several years ago, a fellow crazy person, Chris Batty, decided November should the the National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo or NaNo for the really lazy). I've been participating for a couple years (though I've never "won"), and I don't plan on stopping just because we're in New Zealand. In fact, I plan on milking the fact that I'm on vacation to help get my word count up. Oh, and getting an extra 14 or so hours into my month, thanks to crossing the date line on our way home. I'm still waiting on NaNo to get their counters working, but I'll be keeping one at the bottom of the left column, and, so I can see when they get it up, here's another (which may or may not be working at the moment):
